Couldn't reach you...Malmö - Copenhagen

Bild
Time: 23-25 Jan 2010 By: X2000 by SJ There are two missions in this trip. 1. To see Turning Torso, a spiral building by a famous structural architect' Santiago Calatrava. Pity that we were there too late in the evening, otherwise I could have chances to get into the building.....Thumb up! 2. To try X2000 claming as the best train of SJ. Unfortunately, I sincerely say that it's not that good compare to trains in Norway. The train shakes all the way but I found something nice with the Gray SJ card....I got unlimited free coffee from its bistro :) Youth hostel in Malmö is cheap and really nice compare to the one in Copenhagen.

Lonely Scotland

Time: Early April 09 By: Ryanair Thanks to some left period of my UK visa which force me to come here. 5 days 4 nights are not bad but a bit bitter if you go there while you have heartbroken like me :) I had had a misunderstanding about Scott's capital until I planned this trip....yes the capital is Edinburgh not Glasgow ^^'' .  Glasgow is a city style with many shopping areas and new architectures. Many shops are the same as London so at least I could test some scones and shortbread as I wish. The second day I took a one day tour to Highland to see some wonderful landscape and yeah....Loch Ness legend. I really enjoyed the scenic view outside the window and hope one day I will drive here myself (yeah, thanks god it's left side drive here) Edinburgh was under construction and renovation however it's charming indeed. Since they have a long history so they are very well-known about haunting story. I joined a free city tour (which is absolutely and by manner need

Christmas break in London

Bild
Time: Dec 23-Jan 7 (2008-2009) By: Outbound: Ryanair-----Inbound: SAS My first trip is Christmas break in London....actually it's also my longest trip but only one city. I flew there with Pu' but back to Stockholm alone. N'Note was so kind for letting me stay at her place for 4 days. I met many new friends and yes....my old lovely friend, Pee and my curly friend, Art. After that I spent my time at Bean and Per's place near Borough market. Bean was not there at that Time and I rented the room from her. I rarely met Per, however we had some meals together and it was nice especially his O-deng.        So far, I realized since then why London is very popular for tourists. There are many places to visit both old and new. 'Must do' is shopping and Boxing day is something crazy  while river Thames walk is fabulous.        I really miss traditional Scone and Shortbread...the tastiest and cheapest is in Waitrose. However I've found Scottish shortbread in some superma
