After almost 7 months waiting i finally got my self-employed visa. It's almost the same waiting period as my work permit in 2011. My path to get permanent resident permit is somehow longer than others and not that smooth (sigh). But I do believe that there will be solution for any problem if you try your best. By law if you quit the job for whatever reason in the first 24 months you need to find a new job and re-apply a work permit within 3 months otherwise Migrationsverket 'can' revoke your permit. In reality they won't as long as you don't brake any law. My solution is starting a company in company limited form (AB in swedish). Then you run the company by sending invoice and give yourself salary instead. This is a simple setup but the more difficult step is finding customer. Frankly i'm quite lucky for this step since I have helpful networking. Thanks to them that made me got visa extension by all jobs during the last 2 years. I'll write more about how
